By using ONDA Menu you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the app.
What ONDA Menu does
ONDA Menu reads restaurant menus from your photos and web pages you or others selected, translates them, explains dishes, shows prices with a currency estimate, and lets you keep private notes about places and food on your phone. ONDA Menu does not select or curate restaurants. Restaurant owners and managers may elect to manage their restaurant menu by subscribing to ONDA Menu (an in-app purchase inside the free app.)
Allergies and dietary needs — please read
Menu information in ONDA Menu is read and translated automatically and may be wrong, incomplete or out of date. Labels such as "vegetarian", "contains peanuts" or "gluten-free" come either from what the menu prints (✓) or are a guess based on typical recipes ("likely"). Restaurants change recipes, and kitchens share equipment.
ONDA Menu is not medical advice and cannot guarantee that any dish is safe for you. If you have a food allergy, intolerance or medical diet, always confirm ingredients with the restaurant's staff before ordering.
Prices and translations
Prices may have changed, and website prices may differ from those in the restaurant. Currency conversions are estimates based on daily rates. Translations and dish explanations are produced automatically and may contain mistakes.
What you contribute
When you read a menu, the dishes it contains (not your photos, and not who you are) become part of a shared menu library that helps other people. You confirm you're allowed to photograph or copy the menu, and you give ONDA a free, worldwide permission to store, translate and show that menu information in ONDA Menu. Please photograph menus only — avoid capturing other people.
Your private information
What you keep on your phone — photos of places and food, notes, ratings, edits — stays on your phone. See our Privacy Policy for details.
Fair use
Don't use ONDA Menu to break the law, to overload or interfere with the service, or to copy the menu library in bulk.
Restaurants
Restaurant names and menus belong to their owners. ONDA Menu does not accept payment to rank or promote any restaurant. Restaurant owners who believe their information is wrong can contact us.
No warranty
ONDA Menu is provided "as is" and is still in development. We don't promise it will always be available, accurate or free of errors.
Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, ONDA is not responsible for any harm resulting from relying on menu, ingredient, allergy, price or translation information in the app, including what you choose to eat.
Changes
We may update these terms. The effective date above shows the latest version. Continuing to use the app means you accept the updated terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, USA.
